Cridland joins AudioBoo

by cmumusicnews 17. February 2010 12:13

Former BBC interactive radio exec James Cridland is to join AudioBoo, the sort of audio version of Twitter, which is currently tied to the iPhone. He has been hired in a 'special advisor' capacity to develop a new professional version of the service that will be sold to media firms and radio stations.

Look, here's James talking about his new job: "I've been a user of AudioBoo since launch, and am excited about how the technology behind AudioBoo can change the sound of radio for the better. AudioBoo is a transformative step in allowing radio stations to become even closer to their listeners, and I look forward to working together with their inspirational team and the brightest brains in radio".

As previously reported, Cridland rather abruptly departed the BBC last summer with no new job in place, though he promised to return with a new project in early 2010.
